I am Dina and I run Lemon's toys so you might know me as @lemonandthebirds from Instagram where I love to post about my nine flying chickens. 
As a first-time bird owner I never knew how unaffordable bird toys can be! Some bird toys in the market aren't even safe for the birds as they contain plastics and cotton rope which are very unsafe for birds. To solve this problem, I returned home and started creating toys and seeing how effective they were on my birds. They loved the toys so I kept going and finding new materials for my birds which house lead me to create a mini store where I can sell my creations to bird owners all over New Zealand and Australia.
Two years have passed and we are really well known around New Zealand for making affordable safe and fun Bird toys for your bird. Now we have a variety of toys that are natural, colourful, chunky and chewable and most importantly safe! I hope we have a toy that suits your birds.
